    The Specialized Tarmac SL8 Expert is the culmination of eight generations of "Aero in Everything" philosophy. By integrating the lightweight engineering of the Aethos with the aerodynamic pedigree of the Venge, Specialized has created a frame that weighs a mere 685g while remaining more aerodynamic than its predecessors. The "Speed Sniffer" nose cone and ultra-narrow seat post utilize the latest UCI rules to slice through the wind, making it 16.6 seconds faster over 40km than the SL7. Equipped with the lightning-fast Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset, this is the ultimate weapon for conquering the legendary Tourmalet-style climbs of the Santa Monica Mountains or sprinting along the coast.

How to Place a Booking

  • 1. Choose Size and Dates

    • Select your bike size.
    • Select your rental start date, being the first day you want to ride (we deliver the evening before your rental start date.
    • Select your rental end date (if you are renting for 1 day, the start and end dates will be the same).

  • 2. Add Your Details

    • Add your rider details - Rider name, height etc.
    • Choose your pedals
    • Choose your helmet.
    • Choose your accessories.
    • Enter your measurements (optional).
    • Continue shopping to add another bike, a guided ride, nutrition, extra bottle etc.
    • Add to Cart.
    • Go to your Cart - top right corner.

  • 3. Hotel Delivery

    • Select Delivery (btw Livelo will collect the bike from you at 4 pm on your rental end date).
    • Check out.
    • Checkout occurs in the currency of the country you are riding in.

  • Inclusions

    The following are included with your DTLA rental:

    • Helmet (please select your size in your ride profile).
    • SPD-SL Road Pedals, SPD-MTB pedals, Look Keo, Flat Pedals.
    • 2 x bottle holders
    • Saddle Bag with multi-tool, Co2 canister, Co2 adaptor, spare tube, tyre-levers, USB cable.
    • Garmin/Wahoo mount.
