Opening Weekend

The spring racing commences with Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on 28 February (Cyclo 1 March), followed by Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne on March 1 (Cyclo 28 Feb). The first period of racing draws to a close with the Ename Samyn Classic 2026 on March 3 (Cyclo 1 March).

Racing returns to Belgium on 25 March with the Classic Brugge - De Panne. This is followed by E3 Saxo Classic on March 27 (cyclo March 28), Gent-Wevelgem March 29 (Cyclo 28 March) and Dwars door Vlaanderen on April 1.

Holy Week

Holy Week in Belgium commences on April 5 with Tour of Flanders (Ronde van Vlaanderen) with the associated cyclo (We Ride Flanders) on April 4.

Midweek we have Scheldeprijs, the sprinters classic on April 9, with Holly Week wrapping up just over the boarder in France with Paris-Roubaix on April 12 (Paris- Roubaix Challenge Cyclo 11 April).

Of course the Spring Classics don't end in Roubaix, with the racing returning to Belgium on 17 April for De Brabantse Pijl (cyclo 18 April), then La Flèche Wallonne with its brutal final ascent of the Mur de Huy on 22 April.

La Doyenne

Classics racing in Belgium reaches its conclusion on April 26 with Liège-Bastogne-Liège (cyclo April 25). Can anyone stop Tadej Pogačar taking an title at La Doyenne in 2026.
