Ymittos Peak - 26.8 m / 43.1 km
This is a popular climb for city centre based riders. Ymittos is a peak of 1000m altitude within city centre and the quickest escape for anyone staying in the city. It offers great climbing in full forest and great views of the metropolitan Athens.
Penteli Loop - 36.1 m / 58 km
A favorite route that offers many alternatives (towards Marathon Lake via Nea Makri). Its great for those wanting to have a full profile ride in a shortish distance. A flat section to warm up, good coffee stops, nice turns- knees out- at the shoulder of Penteli mountain and a good climb to the peak. Make sure to stop at the water spring and enjoy the descent back to the city.
The Athens Riviera Ride - 44.5 m / 71 km
The Athens Riviera is one of the greatest routes in a Metropolitan City in Europe we dare to say! It connects Athens to Cape Sounio with its towering famous temple as a landmark.
The great thing about it is that you can make it as long a ride as you wish as there are alternative ways to cut it short.
